Global Resorts Network Review – Scam or Legit?
So you’ve heard about Global Resorts Network (GRN) and you want to get an honest review of the travel product and the optional business model associated with it. I’ll start with the good stuff but I’ve included some potential downsides too at the end so keep reading…
Global Resorts is actually a marketing front end to a very established travel resort club which has been in business for 25 years now. In the past this membership has been sold for double the price in hotel sales presentations and the like. GRN was granted exclusive rights to market the membership via the internet so they could expand online. On hearing this I was confident that the product and opportunity is not a scam would be around a long time if the travel provider had already been in business for 25 years.
I forked out the few grand and bought GRN because of the product first. Period.
Here’s what will SHOCK you, in a good way The price comparisons of the resort in GRN compared to on the big travel sites like Expedia.com and TripAdvisor.com
Here’s just one example on how the savings on a two week holiday will almost pay for the lifetime membership!
I hate those ridiculously hyped products and marketing schemes which don’t have a product. The fact the people buy this (and at twice the price in the hotel sales presentations) without any interest in the business side shows it is a legit product on it’s own merits. In fact the first website I’m making to market the membership is targeted at people who just want cheap holiday and not people looking for a business opportunity.
One of the biggest names in the internet marketing community is Frank Kern. He is a highly respected marketer and to hire him as your consultant will cost you a tidy $10k/month.
In his 2012 Q1 State of the Internet address he talked about having a “magic bullet” product which is “a product so exceptionally good that your customers have an experience from it, which is almost magical in their eyes.”
Other satisfied GRN members have posted some quick video reviews of their magical super cheap luxury getaways at http://globalresortstestimonials.com/
A personal reason aspect which was important to GRN’s credibility was seeing the well-recognized leaders in the home business/network marketing space that often speak at the big live events who were also joining GRN. If you’re in the scene you would recognize their names too, if not feel free to email me and I can give you a closer look at who else is getting on board. With so many business opportunities out there these people wouldn’t be joining GRN without good reason. They would have taken their time to do their due diligence before getting involved and putting their reputations on the line.
So what are the downsides to GRN? Well first you are going to have to come up with US$5,000 for the Platinum lifetime membership to get access to the discounted holidays. It’s up to you to decide if it’s going to be a cost, or one of the best investments you’ll ever make. Like the example I showed you above the savings on a single two week holiday could almost pay for the lifetime membership. And you get access to 10 extra cheap weeks per year.
So you can quickly see how the GRN membership will pay for itself over and over again!
It can seem like bit of an upfront investment but to me holidays and vacations are one of those super important things in life that create the experiences and memories that last forever. Think back to two years ago. What is your most memorable week? Was it any of the weeks you spent slaving away 9-5 or was it that week of vacation where you escaped out of town, saw new sights and had new experiences?
We easily drop $5k for a car which loses value and costs money to repair. Doesn’t it make sense to invest $5k for a *lifetime* of super cheap holidays all around the country and world?!!
I’ll quickly explain one detail so the next bit makes sense. In GRN pretty much all of the holidays you can book are for 1 week, usually Saturday to Saturday. Sometime there will be multiple weeks available in a row so you can book a multi-week holiday. So that why we often refer to the holidays available as “weeks” and as a Platinum member you get 10 hot weeks a year.
The other small downside you have to understand is you can’t book into any luxury resort, anytime, for a ridiculously low rate. Some of the extra cheap (ie 70% to 90% less than the Expedia.com rate) weeks are excess inventory that the travel club so they are only for specific dates. To really take advantage of the membership you will need some flexibility to take the exceptionally good deals as they come up. The weeks can be up to a year off so you will still have plenty of time to make holiday arrangement if you work a job.
Also there are more resorts available in certain areas, so you may not always be able to get an extra cheap week if you are looking to holiday somewhere different.
Here’s the best way to decide if Global Resorts Network is right for you…
What I can do for you is arrange a time where you can look through the travel membership site to get an idea of what resort, prices and dates are available.
